Here is another rough proof of your writing - in bold. Please make the necessary corrections yourself.
Mira

Dear Sir or Madam,
I saw your advertisement in newspapers and I would like to apply for it. In my further letter, I will give you the certain details about my project which will be based on recycling.
Because Valjevo have not ever met with recycling and this caused an increased level of pollution and it is also one of the factors which affected towns’ budget.
In order to save the money for making new glass for bottles, we can put containers for glass and plastic. In addition to this, the level of pollution is higher by each day and we should take care about trees which are giving us oxygen and a chance to breath. By making paper, we cut down the trees and ruin our environment. On the other hand, by recycling paper we could use recycled paper for printing newspapers and magazines on it in purpose to decrease the level of cutting trees.
I would arrange for about twenty students from Valjevo’s Grammar school who will visit citizens and inform them about new containers which we would put. We will this on local television and we will also speak to the dustman from Valjevo and make an arrangement with them. The given money we will spend on containers and we will find the sponsors which will help us to buy the machines.
If we make this project, other towns will take us as an example and do the same. And Serbia will be a step closer to European union.
I hope you will concern my application and I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Ms Ivana Sinakijevic

ARTICLE AND NOTE by I.Sinakijevic - 1ST CHECK

Dear Ivana,

I am sending you the first correction of your writing - as before, I put the dubious sections in bold. I am waiting for your corrections.
Mira

A BIG PET

Would you like to be one of the first who have the biggest pet in the world? Adopt a whale and you’ll be.
‘Green Issue’ represented the ‘Adopt a whale’ the whale adoption costs only £17.5 and you have a new pet and you also get a video cassette in which you are able to find out the most exciting pieces of information about whales like how you make difference between them, how friendly or dangerous they are. Furthermore, there is a poster for your room or your kid’s room, a brochure which consists of different types of information about whales and an Adoption Certificate so that you can visit our whale in each part of a day. In addition to all of this, you’ll get black and white photo of your whale and a sticker for you bag!
By adopting a whale you are getting the opportunity to get in touch with this wild creature and make an amazing experience which you or your children will never forget! You will have your own Willy (I suppose you have watched the movie ‘Free for Willy’)!
Although all of these things sound fun, they are real and the money from this action will be given to charity for protection and survival of whales.
So, who wants a big blue pet?

Jan,
I saw an advert and the idea is very original but not suitable for Peter. We don’t even know if he has a video and it is boring for elder guy. He won’t have time to look after him while he is at work and he studies a lot. I think we should buy him the book, some parody about dogs.
But your idea was great for a college magazine and I will introduce this idea to our colleagues. What do you think?
Let me know asap.
Ivana

MAKING NEW FRIENDS

If you are new in our country, in this city, in this school, then it must be very hard for you. You must be feeling very lonely but you shouldn’t be. People who want to help are all-around.

New activities

The best way to meet people is to start doing some new activities.

Sport

For example, if you are good at sports you can choose some, of many different sports, which are avaible for training in our town. Here you can find couple of football pitches, basketball courts, big swimming pool and many other. They are all waiting for you. Sport is great because it will help you to live healthy.

Art

If you are not keen on sports you can try yourself on culture field. Artists have many possibilities for work in our school. Dancing, music, painting, photography, writing
sections exists here. I would specially like to mention a painting studio Luvr. I was a member and I can tell that it was great experience.

Science&Fun

The society of young researchers Vladimir Mandic Manda is place where you can both learn and have fun. If you are interested in astronomy, speleology, biology there you will be able to learn many new things and (to) do your own research projects. But this society is also very popular because of their work trips which are always interesting and funny.

I have mentioned only some possibilities for you to make new friends. It is not important what you are doing, it is important to be active, to move. I am sure that you will recognize yourself somewhere and make many nem friendships.

Dear Ivana,
I read your writing and put the parts that could be improved in bold, italicized them or inserted X's for the missing information.
I look forward to your first revision.

INFORMAL LETTER

Dear Joanna and Mike,
I am writing to congratulate you on your brave decision to step into marriage and to wish you best luck and many happiness and kids in your future.
I also want to apologize because I will not be able to be presence at the moment when you step in our holly union because I have to go to International trade Conference which will be held in New York from 12-15 February . And I would like to say that I am so sorry because of that but this is very important for my further business carrier and it is the opportunity which I can get only once in my life from my boss.
I was sitting in my room yesterday and I remembered the day when I first met you and my first thought when you talked to me about your relationship: when will they get married, they are perfect for each other.
Sheila told me that you are going to Venice for your honeymoon and I think that’s a great choice: a city under the water with its wonderful old buildings-it’s so romantic. Don’t miss the chance the see Verona and Romeo & Juliet’s home.
I was wondering if you could send me a list of your wedding presents which will help me with choosing the best present for you.
Are you planning to buy a bigger house or apartment? Are you planning to have a kid? I hope you’ll prepare pictures from your honeymoon and wedding so that I can see them when I come to visit you after your honeymoon.
I am looking forward seeing with you soon.
Best wishes,
Ivana Sinakijevic.

MAKING NEW FRIENDS

Dear Ivana,

Here is your second piece of writing with highlighted sections needing improvement.

MAKING NEW FRIENDS

SCHOOL

So you came to Vagym and you don’t exactly know how to make some new friends? Read the pieces of information below and find out.

PEOPLE & PLACES

The first thing which you need to know is that 90% of students here are very communicative and friendly and you will easily get in touch with them. For that purpose, I am suggesting the thing below:

1.CLUBS:
Join some of the school clubs! In Vagym, you can join a debating club if you would like to try your abilities as a talker or if you would like to how to do it, drama club which you could join if you are a good actor, music club for singers and musicians… We also have science clubs for math, physics, English, etc. In addition to this, there is a Young Researchers club, which consists of three groups: astronomy, speleological, biology and the membership is very cheap. There are meetings once a week when you are learning interesting stuff about these sciences and go to some excursions where you’ll be able to study stars, plants, …

2.VOLUNTARY WORK:

If you think that you are able to draw something nice on our wall in school club or you want to be a DJ or a barman in school café, apply for it! You’ll be able to meet a lot of people and make some nice chats and the friendships will come!

EVENTS

If you want to go out and spend a nice weekend, try next cafes: “Bagdad”, Cosmo”, “34”. Those are the cafes where most of our students go out at weekend nights. As concerning the further events, I suggest “Van Gogh” concert which is going o be held newt Friday in “Factory” and the performance in theatre which Vagym prepared for new international students-YOU. Visit those places and you’ll surprise how much new friends you’ll make.
